Interior Styling: Nelson Cole Apartments
Over the past couple of months, Alyssa Zygmunt of Goodwood Design , the Made in Baltimore Program and I partnered up to design and style a showcase apartment at the newly constructed Nelson Kohl Apartments in Station North.
Featuring 16 Baltimore designers, artists & makers, Alyssa & I worked together to curate, install & style the apartment. I went from having only met Alyssa Zygmunt twice to talking to her nearly every day for a solid 6 weeks when we decided to partner for this project. After a whirlwind of renderings (which Alyssa ROCKS at), writing contracts, making spreadsheets, emails & visits with 18+ makers & artists from the Made in Baltimore Program, conversations with the team at Nelson Kohl Apartments, days of prop sourcing AND finally, 2 photoshoots, WE DID IT!!
A big thank you to the insanely talented makers & artists who agreed to volunteer their work and deliver in record time; can't tell you how much we appreciate you:

Made In Baltimore is a local brand initiative aimed at supporting and promoting Baltimore City’s maker/manufacturer community. We coordinate public events and marketing campaigns to expose Baltimore’s maker businesses to ever-larger audiences, and connect them with new commercial opportunities. Our goal is to help revitalize Baltimore communities through the creation of new jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities in the light-manufacturing sector. MIB is a program of the Baltimore City Department of Planning’s Office of Sustainability.
Nelson Kohl Apartments is brand new apartment building designed, inside and out, to pay homage to the arts and entertainment district in which it sits. Located in Station North near Baltimore's Pennsylvania Station, it’s a collection of many elements—metal, glass, wood, whimsy, design, texture, color, people—life.
